Laptop to run Adobe Premier Elements 11 USAHi,
I really am a tech dummy, so I sincerely appreciate any and all advice.
I am looking to buy the cheapest laptop I can get away with, which is halfway decent, that I can do video editing on. I will be devoting this laptop just to editing videos. The videos are 2 hours long, and being shot on just a little handheld video camera. I just want to make sure I get something that won't freeze up while I'm working, that won't take forever to render the videos, and that can store several of theses videos.
I am doing these videos for a college project, so yes, I am a poor college student on a very tight budget.
Thank you in advance for any and all help.

It would be pretty helpful if you filled out the sticky like idiot101 said.
That said, that Asus he links to is pretty decent and should be good enough for lightweight projects like the one you describe (it only has integrated Intel graphics). The 1080p display is *very* important and I wouldn't consider any 15.6" laptop without one (especially for editing work). Though if you need more GPU power, you might have to look towards APU solutions with 1080p displays, which I can't think of any right now.

This is the cheapest quad core laptop with a 1080p screen that I could find. There is a lot of power for you to play with. The laptop is heavy and battery life isn't great, but it should definitely be enough for your needs.
Dell Inspiron 15R Special Edition 15.6" Laptop Computer - Stealth Black I15RSE-2000ALU - Micro Center
Please look for reviews. The laptop has decent feedback.
