Join Date Apr 2010Posts 22Rep Power 9 I am going to replace my motherboard and I am wondering if the number matches is that all I need to be concerned with?
My specs (double checked I didn't transpose any)
CF-74GCDCDBM and MB # DL3UP1600BAA,
Looking at one on ebay with same # DL3UP1600BAA.
I shouldn't have to worry about BIOS flashing or anything right? I should be able to just swap them out? How about the first boot, will there be a conflict with the OS? I usually use W7 pro, not worried about other OS I have.
Thanks for any input.

As long as the board doesn't have a bios password it should drop in.
The OS may detect the change and ask a couple questions. This is no different then swapping a HDD from one unit to an identical unit in my experience.
Set bios to defaults first time around.
Good luck. Report back.
